Olivia Judson's biology blog over at the NYTimes. I found
her recent insights on evolution and extinction particularly noteworthy: apparently for quite some time until the 19th century it was generally thought that extinction was impossible. Amazing! I think the blogs are the best thing the NYT has going currently.
